Your pearls of wisdom have been insightful to this present day…Loyalty and going with what I know ALMOST had me stuck. But I listened to my gut and I remembered our call. You mentioned things like I can go for the big roles, use my network, let people come to you . And here I had this opportunity that basically met my salary requirements, offered me a sign on bonus, and I can do hybrid so I went with my gut and said YES.

When I scheduled the call I was nervous, scared and apprehensive about my next steps. I knew what I needed to do, but I wanted to talk them over with an objective voice, someone who wouldn't just tell me what I wanted to hear and not someone who was insecure in their own moves - I'd already done both of those. Mandi was just the person - I'm interested in a Director or Senior Manager role as my next move and since Mandi has already done both of those, she was able to calm my fears, hear me out, let me voice my concerns and provide me with solid next steps - smaller steps than what I was thinking - just so I could go ahead and get moving onto my next.

Mandi quickly caught on to what I'm feeling about my work life. I found it refreshing that she didn't have a "X-step" plan for what I needed to do and how I needed to do it. Her feedback was validating, wise, and not "too-good-to-be-true"/pie-in-the-sky.
